CXR of the Week

Case (1)

A 58 years old Saudi male presented to the OPD complaining of cough and dyspnea. On Examination he had basal crackles associated with expiratory ronchi.

A CXR is shown below:

Q (1) Describe the findings on the CXR?
Q (2) What further investigations will you request?

  1. The CXR Shows:
    Prominent Pulmonary Vessels on the right side
    Hyperlucency on the left side
    The CT chest confirmed the findings consistent with McLeod Syndrome
